Our Services Include:

• Sustainable recreation and leisure at both practical and strategic levels. We have written sustainable tourism and leisure studies for the Kennet & Avon and Droitwich Canals and the River Avon
• Countryside access for all, particularly in the waterway environment
• A wide range of countryside matters, including rural and urban fringe countryside management, access and rights of way, landscape matters and social inclusion
• Green space development and management. Jim worked on the Millennium Greens programme, both as adviser and National Programme Manager
• Community engagement in the youth and community sector
• Sustainability, including over five years in the British Waterways national Sustainability Team
• Rural regeneration. Jim was involved in taking forward BW's Rural Regeneration Strategy, working with rural partners to maximise the economic and social opportunities of waterways
• Business planning and funding bids. Jim coordinated the Countryside Agency's successful £13 million bid to New Opportunities Fund for the Doorstep Greens programme.
